There are many roads in the state – around 95 000km, 25 000km of which are local for the state. There are many highways (2400km) connecting South Australia to the other states. As far as trains are concerned, through the state passes the Ghan – one of the major rail lines in the country. There are also other lines, enabling visitors to travel from one state to the other. There is also an International airport in Adelaide – 5km away from the centre of the city. Plus there are two major airlines. If you prefer traveling by sea, you can use the Port Adelaide, which has international connections with other continents.

Please for Flights, Car-rental and other transportation bookings refer to the general Australia Transportation Reservations page.
