Although none of the three main railways passes through Queensland, it has 10 011km of own rail lines. There are also three international airports in the state – in Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville. Furthermore, there are around 130 domestic airports and aerodromes.
Queensland has many water connections. It has many ports, the biggest one of which is the Port of Brisbane. Around 120 million tonnes of cargo pass through the ports of the state. One can also hire a car or take a taxi, or even take a guided tour around.
