Gladstone Transportation

Gladstone is located on the coast, twenty-one kilometers (13 miles) off the Bruce Highway. QantasLink has numerous flights a day from Brisbane (trip takes around 70 minutes) and also 2 direct flights a day from Rockhampton and Bundaberg. Gladstone Airport is situated just eight kilometers out of the city.
Queensland Rail operates trains to Gladstone from Brisbane and Cairns most of the week days. The trip from Brisbane takes around six hours on the high-speed Tilt Train; and this from Cairns – twenty hours.
Greyhound Australia operates daily coaches to Gladstone on the Brisbane-Cairns run, which trip takes around ten hours and this from Cairns - 20 hours. The 24 hour coach terminal is located in the City Center Mobil on Dawson Road. 
If arriving by sea, one can berth at the modern Gladstone Marina, which offers all maritime services.  It is operated by the Central Queenslad Ports Authority.
