Bundaberg Transportation
Bundaberg is on the Isis Highway, about fifty kilometers (31 miles) off the Bruce Highway from Gin Gin in the north and some 53 kilometers (33 miles) off the Bruce Highway from just north of Childers in the south. Qantas Link flies from Brisbane every day and from Gladstone three times a week. Trains stop in Bundaberg daily en route between Brisbane and Cairns, which trip takes less than five hours from Brisbane and eight hours from Cairns on the Tilt Train; the Sunlander takes almost seven hours from Brisbane and 25 hours from Cairns.
