Brisbane Transportation
By Plane
About twenty international airlines serve Brisbane from Europe, New Zealand and Asia, including, but not limited to Qantas, Thai International, Malaysia Airlines, Pacific Blue, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines. From North America, one can fly direct from Los Angeles to Brisbane on Qantas, but from other places it is more likely to fly to Sydney and connect on Qantas, or fly direct from Auckland, New Zealand.
By Train
All intercity and interstate trains pull into the downtown Brisbane Transit Centre at Roma Street, also called the Roma Street Transit Center. From there, most city and Spring Hill hotels are just a few blocks' walk away.
By Bus
Much like the trains, all intercity and interstate bus lines stop by the Brisbane Transit Center as well. A one-way Cairns-Brisbane trip takes about thirty hours, and Sydney-Brisbane trip is about sixteen - seventeen hours and costs around US$80 one-way.
By Car
The Bruce Highway from Cairns goes into Brisbane from the northern side, and the Pacific Highway enters the city from the south.

Please for Flights, Car-rental and other transportation bookings refer to the general Transport Page.
