The international airport in Darwin is 13km from the centre with available shuttle buses. There are two major airlines with flights around the state, the biggest cities in Australia and some foreign countries. The rail line Ghan passes directly through the state and connect it with almost all of the other states. As Darwin is the biggest port in the Northern Territory, is provides regular international ship cruises. There are three main highways, passing through the state - Stuart Highway, Barkly Highway and Victoria Highway
