Getting to New South Wales by plane is pretty easy. There are five airlines and airports in almost every city in the state which serve as domestic ones. Through Sydney and the southern parts of New South West passes the big railway Indian Pacific, which provides connection to many other parts of Australia. What is more, there are other train lines throughout New South Wales. Around Sydney there is also daily ferry connection to most of the important attractions around. There is also a metro connection throughout Sydney and New South Wales which makes the sightseeing really comfortable. Not to mention the opportunities for car rental or taxis.

For flights and car-rental reservations, please refer to the general Transport section.
